What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain services and components, focusing on API design, data modeling, and system reliability.
• Contribute to system design decisions ensuring scalability, observability, and maintainability.
• Implement high-quality, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve product outcomes.
• Diagnose production issues, improve performance, and ensure operational excellence across multiple services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience with service/component ownership.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language and ecosystem, with hands-on experience in API design, data modeling, and system design.
• Experience building, testing, deploying, and operating backend or full-stack services in production, including participating in on-call rotations.
• Work authorization for the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Strong proficiency in modern Java development.
• Hands-on experience with public/hybrid cloud services and Kubernetes.
• Previous experience with high-throughput, low-latency backend systems (handling millions of requests daily).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools.
• A proactive approach to debugging complex issues in a distributed environment.
