TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Valid working visa for the Netherlands required.

What you will do
- Implement and improve Hyper-V setup and advise on Veaam backup systems.
- Administer Windows Server services including NTFS permissions, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Install, configure, and maintain on-site hardware and coordinate vendor support.
- Optimize print services and streamline Service Desk processes through automation.
- Support network security by configuring FortiClient endpoints and FortiGate firewalls.
- Lead migration of virtual environment from VMware to Hyper-V.
Requirements
- MBO/HBO+ level education in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of hands-on IT support or engineering experience, ideally in an international, multi-office organization.
- Good understanding of Windows environments, Azure Infrastructure, Office 365, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proven scripting skills with PowerShell and familiarity with automation tools like Adaxes.
- Experience with backup solutions (Veeam Backup & Replication) and network security appliances (Fortinet).
- Fluency in English required.
