What you will do

• Lead and mentor the development team, defining architecture and best practices.
• Stay hands-on in Java development, implementing features and resolving complex production issues.
• Drive the modernization of monolithic structures toward modular and service-oriented architectures.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap.
• Continuously improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Actively shape architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior Java Developer with strong architectural expertise.
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Experience modernizing monolithic systems and designing scalable distributed architectures.
• Solid knowledge of cloud environments (ideally AWS) and container technologies (Docker).
• Strong analytical mindset, ownership attitude, and collaborative working style.
• Fluent German and English.
