What you will do

• Extend, improve, and customize Unreal Engine 5 architecture and source code.
• Work on low-level subsystems, memory, asset streaming, I/O, and building pipelines.
• Profile and optimize CPU/GPU performance, memory footprint, and loading times for current and next-gen platforms.
• Extend and tune core engine features and technologies (Nanite, Lumen, Chaos).
• Support a range of consoles (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo), PC, and cloud-based gaming platforms.
• Integrate platform SDKs, store APIs, online services, and storefronts.
• Participate in all phases of development, from prototype and tools setup to shipping the final game build.

Requirements

• Strong C++ programming skills with practical experience.
• Proven experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or 5, with understanding of engine modules, build system, reflection macros, Unreal Editor customization, plugin development, Blueprint system integration, and rendering/physics subsystems.
• Knowledge of development tools and technologies, such as Visual Studio, Rider, Perforce, Git, and performance analysis tools.
• Understanding of computer architecture fundamentals, including memory layout, cache efficiency, multithreading, synchronization, parallel computation, and CPU/GPU communication.
• Ability to maintain at least 75% overlap with the project team’s working hours.
• Fluent spoken English and effective communication skills for cross-studio collaboration.
