What you will do

• Test the game in conjunction with the proprietary launcher.
• Test backend integrations (authorization, entitlements, inventory, payments).
• Verify payment system integrations (purchase flow, payment confirmation, content delivery).
• Support releases and updates on Steam, Steam Deck, and STOVE.
• Validate compliance with platform requirements and storefront policies.
• Perform smoke, regression, and exploratory testing and maintain test cases.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience testing PC game projects.
• Strong understanding of client-server architecture and defect lifecycle.
• Experience testing backend integrations (REST API, authorization, tokens, server responses).
• Proficiency with Jira for bug management and documentation.
• Experience with TestOps or similar test management systems.
• Understanding of Steam Deck testing specifics (gamepad input, UI, performance).

Nice to have

• Experience with Steamworks.
• Experience testing storefront integrations.
• Experience testing on portable devices (Steam Deck, Switch).
• Log analysis skills.
