What you will do

• Develop the backend layer, including REST API endpoints and business logic.
• Design and implement integrations with external systems and applications.
• Ingest data from multiple sources such as Amazon RDS, SOAP/REST APIs, and message queues.
• Implement data export functionalities (PDF, Excel, CSV).
• Develop unit and integration tests using Groovy, Test Containers, and Spring Boot Test.
• Support application releases and provide 2nd level support after deployment.

Requirements

• Strong backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
• Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
• Experience with modern product development practices, including Agile/Scrum and test-driven development.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AWS services such as S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively on loosely defined problems.
• Experience with UX and design thinking.
