Location: Suzhou, China. Employees who live within a 25-mile commute of Suzhou, China, are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

What you will do

• Define and evolve product health metrics for Copilot experiences.
• Design and execute A/B tests and quasi-experimental analyses.
• Build robust causal inference and statistical analysis frameworks.
• Develop scalable data pipelines, monitoring dashboards, and self-service analytics.
• Diagnose product and model performance issues through deep-dive analyses.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience applying data science/analytics to solve complex product or business problems.
• Solid hands-on skills in Python and SQL; experience with large-scale data processing.
• Solid foundation in statistical modeling, experimentation design, hypothesis testing, and causal inference.
• Experience building metrics systems, dashboards, and decision frameworks for product development.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal), with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Ability to work from the office at least four days per week if living within a 25-mile commute of Suzhou, China.

Nice to have

• Experience in AI product analytics, conversational AI, LLM evaluation, ranking/retrieval systems, or recommendation/search systems.
• Familiarity with Copilot-like interaction data and quality frameworks.
• Experience with cloud and big data platforms (Azure preferred), including production-scale telemetry and monitoring.
