TL;DR
Cyber Security Advisory Consultant (Cybersecurity): Applying technical knowledge to generate creative solutions and advise CxOs on large-scale transformation deals in Cyber Security with an accent on driving growth, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying improvement areas. Focus on translating business needs into scalable cloud solutions, championing automation, and ensuring deployment aligns with best practices and compliance frameworks.
Location: Hybrid working model with a blend of Company offices, client sites, and home; you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. To be appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements. Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons.

What you will do
- Apply technical knowledge to generate creative and innovative solutions for clients.
- Develop deep relationships with CxO’s and advise on large-scale transformation deals and complex programmes to drive Cyber Security growth.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external clients.
- Utilise critical thinking to identify improvement areas for clients and opportunities for the business.
- Transform client challenges into competitive technical propositions.
- Represent the CIS Advisory team internally and externally at a board level.
Requirements
- Proficiency in technical scoping, architecture design, and integration of security tools and processes.
- Familiarity with security control tools, identity management, and secure development practices.
- Defining and advising on technical strategies & designs according to cybersecurity best practices, ensuring correct deployment in Cloud environments, and championing automation.
- Experience in multiple projects, including cyber controls engineering, Security operations, Security DevOps, and GRC.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, GDPR, NIS2, etc.).
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable, user-centric cloud solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on thought leadership and solution development.
- To be appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
- The successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years.
