Location: Must be based in one of the following hiring hubs: Boston, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Santa Barbara, San Francisco, or Seattle.

Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 a year

What you will do

• Coach, mentor, and guide engineers in technical skills, career growth, and communication.
• Uphold a high technical bar through rigorous code reviews and design discussions.
• Conduct interviews and build stable, high-performing teams.
• Review existing processes and proactively offer improvements.
• Ensure commitments are met and misses are identified early.
• Partner with Product and Design in a Triad structure.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a preference for React, Typescript, Node.js, and Postgres SQL.
• 3+ years managing, coaching, and developing agile software engineering teams in a SaaS environment.
• A champion for modern AI tooling and process improvements.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to remain effective and lead teams through evolving project scopes and organizational changes.
• Ability to work from one of our hiring hubs with minimal travel requirements, approximately 1 to 2 times per year.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with FedRAMP compliance or government contract work.
• Security governance and infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Nest.js and Python.
• HealthTech or highly regulated industry experience.
