Nekki is a game development studio and the creator of Shadow Fight Arena, Shadow Fight 3, Shadow Fight 2, and Vector, with over 1.5 billion registered users worldwide. The company develops and releases games for PC, consoles, and mobile platforms.
We are currently looking for a Sound Designer to join the team working on SPINE — an upcoming single-player third-person action game built with Unreal Engine 5. The project focuses on cinematic gun-fu shootouts, deep storytelling, unique settings, memorable bosses, character progression, and intense firearm-based combat.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Record, edit, and design high-quality sound effects (weapons, impacts, ambience, UI, cutscenes, animation sounds)
• Implement sound effects in Unreal Engine 5 using Wwise
• Test and optimize audio systems to ensure proper functionality
• Collaborate with the audio team to plan and implement project goals
• Work closely with programmers to develop audio systems
• Collaborate with designers, animators, artists, VFX, and other departments to achieve top-quality audio
• Maintain up-to-date documentation
📚 Required Skills
• 3+ years of commercial experience in video game audio development
• Portfolio (reel) demonstrating relevant skills and experience
• Proficiency with any DAW
• Hands-on experience with recording equipment, microphones, and stands
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5 (Blueprints) and Wwise
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and high quality standards
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
• Passion for video games and audio
👍 Nice to Have
• Experience on AAA projects
• C++ knowledge for advanced audio integration
