Software Engineer (Observability): Developing and maintaining tooling for cloud integrations and observability applications within Grafana Cloud with an accent on designing and implementing high-quality, scalable integrations for various infrastructure components, databases, and applications. Focus on building prototypes, staying up-to-date with cloud native technologies, and actively contributing to open-source projects.

Location: Remote. This role is available for candidates located in the UK, Germany, Spain, Ireland and Sweden.

Salary: £72,000–£90,000 GBP

What you will do

• Develop and maintain features as part of Observability solutions in Grafana Cloud.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality, scalable integrations for various infrastructure components, databases, and applications.
• Build prototypes and present ideas as part of a cross-functional team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud native technologies and development methodologies.
• Represent hirify.global in meetups, conferences, and social media forums.

Requirements

• Experience working in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering or related disciplines.
• Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go, Typescript preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a cross-functional team.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be located in the UK, Germany, Spain, Ireland, or Sweden.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with observability tooling (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience contributing to or maintaining Open Source projects.
• Experience working with cloud computing technologies.
