Senior Fullstack Developer (Music Industry)

TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Developer (Music Industry): Joining a small development team to define development focus for a service empowering independent artists to release music and build a following with an accent on frontend applications (React, TypeScript, next.js) and backend processes (Python). Focus on creating user-friendly products and features from abstract requests, contributing to various aspects of the product.

Location: Available at least 4 days a week, of which one onsite at our office in Amsterdam. We're unfortunately not in a position to offer relocation or visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Play a key role in defining the development focus in harmony with the founders and support team.
• Create products that people love to use and think from the perspective of the user.
• Deliver meaningful features from abstract requests, considering the entire context of the product.
• Work on backend processes (Python) that connect to frontend applications (React, TypeScript, next.js) over simple restful APIs.
• Bring your ideas and shape the way and what we’ll be working on, contributing to many different aspects of the product.

Requirements

• Able to work independently and take ownership within a small team and thrive in a flexible environment.
• You have proven track record of the full stack of technologies and practices (4+ years).
• Familiarity with SQL databases and transactional guarantees.
• Write high quality, well documented and tested code.
• Good understanding of Git and Github.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills (English).
