What you will do
- Deliver Level 2 desktop support for end users, covering hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Support and manage VMware Horizon VDI environments, including provisioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Operate within secure, enterprise-grade environments, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Maintain endpoint security through patching, system hardening, and security tool management.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalated technical issues efficiently.
- Document incidents, procedures, and resolutions to enhance support quality and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Strong background in desktop support and Windows workstation administration.
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with virtual desktop technologies (VDI) and remote access tools.
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (connectivity, DNS, DHCP, troubleshooting).
- Experience using IT service management (ITSM) and asset management systems.
- Knowledge of endpoint management or mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
- Awareness of multi-factor authentication, identity management, and security best practices.
- Ability to work in secure or controlled environments with attention to compliance and documentation.
