What you will do

• Provide daily operational support for HPC network infrastructure, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues affecting HPC workloads and services.
• Configure, upgrade, and maintain enterprise-grade firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, and routing protocols.
• Provide network integration support for HPC platforms including Slurm, Kubernetes, and bare-metal provisioning systems.
• Develop and maintain network automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise network operations or engineering roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with data center networking equipment (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Mellanox, or NVIDIA Networking).
• Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, TCP/IP stack, multicast, QoS, and VLAN/VXLAN/EVPN technologies.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and VPN solutions.
• Proven experience supporting low-latency, high-throughput networks in HPC, AI/ML, or cloud-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with InfiniBand or RoCE technologies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking (CNI plugins, network policies, service meshes).
• Exposure to CI/CD, Git, and modern DevNet practices.
