Senior Devops Engineer (Poland)

Focus on building primitives, guardrails, and golden paths that make secure delivery the easiest path for product teams.

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for operating AWS as a stable, scalable service platform for engineering teams.
• Own the architecture and day-to-day health of AWS environments, including compute, networking, storage, identity, and Kubernetes-based runtime platforms.
• Drive continuous improvements in platform reliability, performance, and fault tolerance through observability, capacity planning, and resilience engineering.
• Build and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code as the default operating model, enabling consistent provisioning, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Improve developer experience by providing self-service infrastructure patterns, templates, and paved paths that reduce friction and operational risk.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, or systems engineering roles.
• Deep hands-on experience operating production systems in AWS.
• Strong expertise with Kubernetes and containerized runtime environments.
• Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals: IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, encryption, and least-privilege access.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams.

• A strong bias toward automation, defaults, and guardrails over manual enforcement.
