TL;DR

What you will do

• Develop in-depth skills in analyzing vulnerability scan results, assessing the associated risks, and prioritizing vulnerabilities for remediation.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of vulnerability remediation efforts across different teams.
• Work closely with technical teams to implement remediation measures, which may include applying patches, configuring systems, implementing security controls, or developing workarounds.
• Verify and validate that implemented remediation measures have effectively addressed the identified vulnerabilities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of vulnerability remediation activities.
• Collaborate closely with security engineers and other technical staff throughout the vulnerability remediation lifecycle.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• A strong interest in the technical aspects of information security, particularly vulnerability remediation.
• Basic understanding of cloud systems and software development pipelines.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with vulnerability databases and scoring systems (e.g., CVE, CVSS).
• Experience with patch management processes.
• Knowledge of security hardening techniques.
