Junior Privacy Officer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Assist in monitoring compliance with GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations.
• Support the execution of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• Help draft and maintain privacy documentation, including privacy notices, internal guidelines, templates, and training materials.
• Collaborate with IT, Product, and Security teams to verify data protection controls are properly implemented and documented.
• Conduct vendor assessments under the supervision of senior privacy managers.
• Support incident response activities, including documentation and coordination related to data breaches or security alerts.
• Monitor regulatory updates and industry trends to inform internal stakeholders about emerging privacy requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Information Technology, Information Security, Compliance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in privacy/data protection management.
• Familiarity with data protection tools (e.g., RoPA systems, DPIA tools, DLP systems).
• Foundational knowledge of European data protection laws, particularly GDPR.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Willingness to obtain certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT.
