Software Engineer (Python/React)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Python/React): Building and optimizing a travel-related web-based product with an accent on product development, third-party integrations, and system architecture design. Location: This role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our Berlin hub, working together in-person 3 days a week. For certain roles, relocation assistance from anywhere in the world may be provided.

What you will do

• Develop product in Python/Django and/or React for a travel-related web-based product.
• Integrate the product with 3rd party APIs.
• Design, implement, and test system architecture.
• Work in an Agile environment with focus on well-documented code, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Mentor, coach, and train colleagues as a domain expert.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building technically complex products in any web programming language.
• Expert level in server-side, client-side, or full stack development.
• Obsession for quality and testing.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Strong communication skills.
• English: B2 required.

• Experience in the travel industry.
• DevOps experience with the AWS suite.
