Location: Remote globally, with an option for hybrid work in Bucharest, Romania.

What you will do

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java to support the platform.
Own solutions and drive team progress towards goals, including aiding in PHP systems decommissioning.
Collaborate with integration teams and external providers to ensure seamless service connections.
Optimise application performance and scalability through code refactoring, caching, and best practices.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by internal teams or customers.

Requirements

High proficiency in Java programming language with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
Prior experience in iGaming, specifically on Game Studio with experience in building slot game backends.
In-depth knowledge of Spring Technology stack.
Good knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases and caching systems.
Experience with events streaming systems, microservices, and Kafka.
Proven fluency in English for good written and verbal communication.
