B2B Senior Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin)

TL;DR

Location: Remote, with expected quarterly visits to the office in Katowice, Poland. Must be based in Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland.

What you will do

• Break down customer problems into executable tasks for the agile team.
• Develop and optimize core domain services in a PaaS environment on top of infrastructure layer.
• Produce designs for new and existing features, ensuring high quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and leadership to understand and prioritize team goals.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders across the organization.
• Provide on-call support for services owned by the team as part of a shared rotation schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing enterprise-grade software with an understanding of testing and quality assurance processes.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in JVM application development (Java+Spring or Kotlin+Ktor).
• Experience with Microservices Architecture and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB preferred).
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS services, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Strong understanding of Service Ownership and DevOps culture.
• Strong written and oral English and Polish language skills are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Golang.
• Experience with Observability tools such as Loki, OpenSearch, Jaeger, Tempo, Prometheus, or Grafana.
