What you will do

• Identify and develop scalable and performant solutions.
• Shape product strategy and execution across disciplines.
• Develop core code architecture and quality standards.
• Mentor and coach other engineers.
• Set and uphold engineering process standards for high quality.

Requirements

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of production-level experience building highly scalable systems.
• 4+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL or other database querying languages on large multi-table data sets.
• Experience architecting, developing, and deploying large-scale distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience building continuous integration and continuous development (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong familiarity with server-side web technologies (e.g., Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go).

Nice to have

• 8+ years experience building full-stack web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience architecting, developing, and deploying integration apps with health-tech systems (e.g., Electronic Health Records/EHRs).
• Experience building Chromium-based apps or pluggable UIs.
• Expertise in at least 1 server-side web technology (e.g., Node.js, Python preferred, Java, Go, JVM), with web frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask).
• Deep understanding of the DOM, API design, Docker, Kubernetes, and security for sensitive data.
