What you will do

• Create, design, develop, test, and monitor code autonomously and reliably in production.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to implement pragmatic solutions end-to-end.
• Work with your team to design high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions and be accountable for their execution.
• Obtain a good understanding of the business to provide relevant solutions to users and clients.
• Mentor and promote tech growth within the teams.
• Stay up-to-date on new technologies and architectures, demonstrating good judgment in their potential applications.

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in backend development, focusing on security, scalability, availability, and performance.
• Extensive experience with AWS in a production environment, preferably for high volume/high availability services.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and NodeJS/Python/Ruby/Rails.
• Ability to design pragmatic and simple architectures to solve problems at scale.
• Possess effective and proactive communication skills, and can collaborate with different profiles and roles.
• This is a hybrid role based in Madrid, Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience working on frontend applications, preferably with React.
