Salary: £72,702 – £88,858 per annum

- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to capture and analyse requirements.
- Lead the development and implementation of complex software applications.
- Maintain code quality and follow coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Lead debugging and analysis of production incidents.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role.
- Extensive understanding of software development principles for highly observable and scalable solutions.
- Proficiency in React is a must, with additional knowledge of Java, Node.js or Python an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, Azure, or AWS, and cloud-native architecture & containerisation (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Helm).
- Familiarity with Agile principles & practices including Scrum methodology and Jira.
- Detailed understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective collaboration and relationship-building capabilities.
- Awareness of emerging trends and technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language models & Agentic Architecture/ AI Agents.
- An understanding of networking, including public cloud & on-premise infrastructure.
