Location: Redmond, United States. Employees who live within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. are expected to work from the office at least four days per week starting January 26, 2026.

Salary: USD $100,600 – $199,000 per year across the U.S., and USD $131,400 – $215,400 per year for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Ability to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
• Solid Computer Science fundamentals and an inclination for architecting at scale.
• Excellent technical design, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and the ability to build metrics for business impact analysis.
• Passion for UX and creating high-quality user experiences.
• Solid collaboration and effective team communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience, OR Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years experience.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development and testing tools.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve code quality, speed up implementation, and streamline engineering workflows.
