Software Engineer II – Frontend Development (AI)

TL;DR

Software Engineer II (Frontend Development, AI): Develops world class Web UI experience for our demand management platform as well as enable new Ads Product to advertisers with an accent on customer satisfaction and building metrics to monitor impact of features. Focus on improving code quality, speed up implementation, and streamline end-to-end engineering workflows using AI-powered development tools.

Location: Expected to work from the hirify.global office in New York at least four days per week if living within a 50-mile commute.

Salary: USD $131,400 – $215,400 per year (New York City metropolitan area)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript OR equivalent experience.
• Solid CS fundamentals, solid inclination for architecting at scale.
• Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Proficient in data driven decision making, ability to build metrics to analyze business impact.
• Solid collaborator and effective team communicator.
• hirify.global Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the hirify.global Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to JavaScript, and TypeScript OR equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and modern front-end development and testing tools.
• Ability to analyze data and build metrics that measure business impact.
• Passion for UX and creating high quality user experiences.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools to improve code quality, speed up implementation, and streamline end-to-end engineering workflows.
