What you will do

• Lead and grow the Engineering Systems team, providing mentorship and career development.
• Drive the design, development, and support of developer-facing tools and experiences.
• Translate product requirements into engineering work and lead technical/product discussions.
• Collaborate with other leaders on planning, staffing, and project delivery.
• Ensure reliable delivery of complex, high-quality projects.
• Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and practical decision-making within the team.

Requirements

• 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 6+ years of engineering management experience.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully recruiting and leading technical teams.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in developer-facing technologies, client-server protocols, database internals, or distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding written and oral English language skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience leading teams focused on improving software quality, reliability, and developer experience.
• Experience leading or managing teams across multiple international locations and time zones.
