What you will do

• Guide technical delivery of Frontier deployments from initial discovery to production.
• Own the end-to-end data science approach, including designing and implementing optimal techniques from EDA to deep learning.
• Partner with commercial teams and clients as a trusted technical advisor to build strong relationships.
• Articulate complex technical concepts, model design choices, and strategic decisions to diverse C-suite and engineering audiences.
• Formally manage and mentor data scientists, taking direct responsibility for their professional growth.
• Establish a distinct data science vision and drive best practices for configuring the Frontier product.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in machine learning and diverse statistical and data science methodologies (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, Bayesian inference, time-series analysis).
• Strong Python skills and excellent proficiency with core data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn), plus familiarity with deep-learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Proven experience leading data science projects, making key decisions on technical direction, model selection, and architecture.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex business problems into mathematical frameworks and presenting persuasive technical solutions.
• Strategic, product-oriented mindset, deeply understanding user needs and connecting them to the value delivered by a technical product.
• Experience formally managing or mentoring other technical professionals.
• Essential commercial experience, particularly in client-facing work or consulting.
