Technical Operations & Strategy Intern

TL;DR

Technical Operations & Strategy Intern (Business Analytics): Contributing to strategic initiatives, conducting market assessments, and analyzing global spend basis for colocation and network. Focus on enhancing tooling with AI, identifying competitive threats, and building new business relationships in infrastructure.

Location: In-office 3-4 days a week in Lisbon, Portugal.

What you will do

• Conduct market and provider assessments for infrastructure expansion.
• Analyze global spend basis for colocation and network.
• Enhance tooling, forecasting and tracking with AI and other forms of intelligent automation.
• Deep dive into emerging competitive threats and market shifts within key hirify.global supplier areas (e.g., AI/ML, data center, cloud).
• Find and speak to new infrastructure companies and create new business relationships.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Liberal Arts, Computer Science).
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• A self-starter with a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
• A passion for hirify.global's mission and a genuine interest in the underlying technologies (networking, security, edge computing, AI).

Nice to have

• Self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative high-growth environment.
• Ability to commit to a full-time 12 week internship.
• Familiarity with infrastructure concepts (cross-connects, circuits, colocation vendors/sites) or interest in learning quickly.
• Ability to write or prompt (OpenCode etc) scripting and code
• API familiarity and ability to create persistent, reliable data pipelines
