What you will do
- Provide local site support and manage support activities for end-users.
- Troubleshoot network issues including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Install, connect, and move IT equipment such as workstations, telephony hardware, and conferencing systems.
- Provision desktops using imaging techniques and prepare/ship new hire or replacement equipment.
- Provide hands-on support for network and server teams when required.
- Manage and implement patch management on local site infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain the local VMWare Hypervisor environment and associated storage.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a customer-facing IT technical support role.
- Experience in system administration and networking fault diagnostics.
- Knowledge of VMware, ESXi, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and Windows-based applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance at the appropriate national/regional level.
Nice to have
- Current MCSE or equivalent certification, CCNA or networking certificate.
- Linux and Ansible experience.
