What you will do

• Directly interface with customers daily to support their business and growth.
• Deliver technical support services across hirify.global’s product portfolio (Server, MaxScale, ColumnStore, Galera Cluster, Xpand).
• Provide services ranging from software usage and best practices to service restoration and performance tuning.
• Utilize advanced troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving capabilities.
• Work autonomously and as part of a global team providing 24x7x365 coverage, with occasional work on nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills (C1).
• Experience with the Linux command line.
• Experience with database technologies and knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with database related terminology.
• A desire to learn and improve, self-motivated, and reliable.
• Strong team-player with a collaborative nature.

Nice to have

• Prior hirify.global, Percona or MySQL experience.
• Proficient in one or more scripting languages.
• Sysadmin experience or RDBMS certification.
• Experience with virtualization software or containers.
• Knowledge of database design or high availability environments.
