Location: Leeds (Hybrid - 2 days on-site)

Salary: £60,000–£80,000 per annum

What you will do

• Build and maintain full stack JavaScript applications.
• Deliver high-quality, production-ready code across front and back end.
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Contribute to architectural and design discussions.
• Promote best practices around testing, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers informally through code reviews and pairing.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Front-end experience with React (or similar frameworks).
• Back-end experience with Node.js (Express, NestJS, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working in agile or consultancy environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microservices or serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
