What you will do

• Design and implement distributed, containerized services using C#/.NET, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Build event-driven, pub/sub based communication layers and decision support services.
• Implement time synchronization, state estimation, fault handling, and resilience patterns.
• Integrate with autopilot PLCs, propulsion PLCs, and AMCS systems, defining interfaces.
• Embed observability (metrics, logs, traces) and contribute to fleet-scale reliability and safety practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive architectural reviews and documentation quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building distributed or real-time systems in C#/.NET with strong architectural skills.
• Deep understanding of control system patterns and messaging, including pub/sub, event sourcing, and idempotency.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (or K3s/RKE2), CI/CD pipelines, and Git based workflows.
• Fluency in networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, QoS, routing) and API/schema design (REST, DDS, Protobuf).
• Familiarity with industrial/maritime protocols such as NMEA 0183/2000, CAN/J1939, and Modbus.
• Exposure to safety-critical software practices and excellence in collaborating, communicating, and leading engineering initiatives.
