What you will do

• Act as a key resource for setting technical directions, defining engineering practices, and qualifying project plans.
• Lead the preparation, review, and approval of solution, integration, security designs, and technical architecture documents.
• Provide project estimates and prepare software requirements, specifications, and other artifacts.
• Code software programs and applications according to specifications, and conduct code reviews ensuring quality.
• Troubleshoot cross-component/technology issues and provide production support as needed.
• Conduct research on emerging application development software products and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience with expert-level professional/technical skills.
• Expertise in implementing (coding & unit testing) detailed designs into application functionalities using Java/JEE.
• Proficiency in JEE Web Services, distributed and multi-threaded systems, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Mastery in Design Patterns, Frameworks (Spring 5+, Hibernate 5+), and various JEE application technologies.
• Strong database experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with development tools (IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven, Git), performance testing, code debugging, monitoring, and JVM tuning.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hazelcast, Kafka, Docker, and BIRT Reporting.
