Lead Integration Engineer (Mulesoft)

TL;DR

Lead Integration Engineer (Mulesoft): Developing and maintaining complex integration solutions on the MuleSoft platform with an accent on REST API design, database performance, and scalability. Location: This position is fully onsite in El Poblado, Medellin, Colombia. Relocation to Medellín is required if not already based there.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain integration solutions on the MuleSoft platform.
• Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs and actively maintain interfaces between various enterprise systems.
• Own integration features through the entire SDLC, ensuring user acceptance, documentation, and functionality.
• Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with other Technical Leadership and Solution Architects to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong experience building complex REST API solutions and developing Mule flows/DataWeave using Anypoint Studio.
• Hands-on experience designing and configuring interfaces with MuleSoft and understanding its API-Led platform architecture.
• Experience in building and testing applications and Microservices on the MuleSoft platform, with expertise in message transformation, validation, routing, and orchestration.
• Experience with Anypoint Runtime Manager, CI/CD process for MuleSoft, and code management platforms like GitLab or GitHub.
• Strong working knowledge of enterprise application support and previous middleware integration experience.
• Ability to provide direction to development teams and work effectively in an Agile environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Work Format: Fully onsite in Medellin, Colombia, 5 days a week.
• Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Medellín is required.
