Global Head of Commercial Legal: Leading and developing hirify.global’s global commercial legal strategy and team, focusing on high-stakes deals, commercial escalations, and complex transactions for customers across all segments. Focus on scaling legal operations, defining strategic goals, and deploying AI-driven solutions to optimize contract lifecycles and departmental processes.

Location: This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule, requiring in-office attendance on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Salary: $359,000 - $422,000

What you will do

  • Lead, develop, coach, and mentor hirify.global’s global team of commercial attorneys and legal professionals.
  • Serve as an escalation point for high-stakes deals and enhance commercial legal support globally.
  • Manage the commercial legal budget, oversee outside counsel, and define organizational goals and metrics.
  • Provide strategic legal and business advice to senior leadership across Sales, Procurement, Channel, and Finance.
  • Develop and implement resources, including AI, automation, and data analytics, to improve team efficiency.
  • Oversee complex commercial transactions with partners and customers, including channel partnerships and vendor agreements.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school with active membership in a state bar association (CA bar preferred).
  • 15+ years of law practice experience, with significant in-house tenure.
  • 8+ years of experience managing and mentoring commercial legal teams.
  • Experience with global sales organizations, particularly APAC and EMEA, and regulated entities.
  • Proven ability to manage and scale a legal operations function and support channel partner programs in companies with over $1 billion in revenue.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
