What you will do
- Own the overall stability, reliability, and efficiency of hirify.global’s core technology.
- Lead, mentor, and support engineering managers and tech leads, fostering accountability and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain and improve engineering practices, processes, and documentation for efficient onboarding and project rotation.
- Collaborate with product and data teams to translate business needs into technical priorities, optimizing for maintainability.
- Anticipate scaling and stability risks, preparing the platform, architecture, and teams for minimal disruption.
- Ensure a high bar for code quality, security, and operational excellence while maintaining team efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading mid-to-large engineering organizations in product-focused tech companies, ideally as Head of Engineering.
- Strong background as a hands-on software engineer with the ability to dive into technical discussions.
- Demonstrated track record of running stable, scalable platforms and teams, focusing on reliability and incremental improvement.
- Experience building and nurturing lean, high-performing engineering teams, including mentoring managers and leads.
- Ability to bring structure, documentation, and continuity to retain knowledge and ensure system understanding.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to align with business leaders.
- Comfortable operating without rigid long-term roadmaps, preparing for challenges through judgment and incremental improvement.
- Good English level is required, proficiency is preferred.
