Frontend Engineer (Angular)

TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (Angular): Designing and implementing performant and exciting web experiences for a high-load platform with an accent on architectural discussions, event-driven systems, and scalability. Focus on leading core component evolution, mentoring, and driving continuous improvement in system design and observability.

Location: Barcelona, Spain. This role is home office friendly anywhere in Spain.

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end features within your squad.
• Participate in architectural discussions and propose improvements across services and APIs.
• Work with event-driven systems and focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and other Engineering teams to enhance the platform and developer experience.
• Take ownership of core components and help evolve their architecture.
• Lead by example through code reviews, design sessions, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Angular (>=16), SSR, HTML5, CSS3+, SASS, Typescript, and Javascript.
• Experience working through cross-browser compatibility issues and coding responsive designs.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, API-first development, and working with OpenAPI specifications.
• Ability to comply with defined coding standards and create quality code with tests.
• Proficient in Business English.
• Must be based in Spain.

Nice to have

• Comfortable doing code on other platforms outside of the frontend.
• Experience with high-load websites.
