What you will do
- Analyze large-scale datasets to identify trends in viewer engagement, product conversion, and talent performance.
- Lead weekly and monthly business review reporting processes, surfacing the story behind the numbers to explain variances.
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to design A/B tests for live-stream features and promotional strategies.
- Execute ad-hoc analyses on complex business problems, such as the impact of high-profile talent on sales.
- Audit data quality and collaborate with the Engineering team to resolve upstream data gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Advanced SQL proficiency to write complex joins and window functions for massive distributed databases (Redshift, S3).
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regressions, probability).
- Must report on-site to the client's office in New York City, Monday through Friday.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and automated reporting.
- Deep interest in the creator economy, live-streaming, or the intersection of entertainment and commerce.
- Experience with AWS services (Glue, Athena, Redshift).
