What you will do

• Define technical direction and organisational strategy for monetisation, payments, subscriptions, and operations systems.
• Lead, mentor, and empower engineering managers and ~25 engineers across multiple domains.
• Build and evolve scalable, resilient internal platforms, integrations, and subscription infrastructure.
• Partner with Product, Data, Finance, and Commercial stakeholders to prioritise roadmaps and shape long-term architecture.
• Champion engineering best practices including documentation, observability, security, and quality.
• Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative culture of clarity, ownership, and innovation.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams in a scaling, product-led environment.
• Solid background in platform, commerce infrastructure, systems, or internal tooling engineering.
• Strong systems-level thinking with the ability to balance long-term resilience and delivery speed.
• Excellent communication skills and a leadership approach rooted in trust, growth, and cross-functional alignment.
• English: B2 required

• Experience with subscription, billing or payment systems, and data integration frameworks.
