Salary: $290,000 – $365,000 USD (annual)

What you will do

• Embed deeply within a research domain to understand the technical landscape and identify high-leverage problems.
• Drive end-to-end execution of complex, ambiguous research initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• Establish processes and frameworks to structure unstructured research environments.
• Coordinate large-scale compute resource planning across research and production workstreams.
• Equip research leadership to make decisions quickly by presenting clear, actionable recommendations.
• Act as the connective tissue between research, engineering, and product teams to accelerate execution.

Requirements

• Background in ML research or engineering with several years of experience building technical programs from scratch.
• Fast learner, capable of understanding and contributing to discussions on complex technical topics.
• Resourceful and high-agency, able to navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities in fast-moving research environments.
• Track record of operational ownership of production ML systems, including monitoring, incident response, and performance optimization.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior technical staff.
• At least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Expectation to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
