What you will do

• Delivering clean, maintainable features and resolving end-to-end issues.
• Contributing to the technical debt strategy to maintain secure and reliable systems.
• Defining effective test strategies that prioritise security, usability, and accessibility.
• Participating in code reviews, focusing on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Fostering a collaborative team culture and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience as a backend developer on large commercial projects (Node or JVM based frameworks).
• Solid knowledge of modern architecture patterns, including React fundamentals, REST-based microservices, and clean code principles.
• Experience with testing and quality assurance, including test-driven development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL, AWS services, and Docker.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance optimisation and React Native’s underlying architecture.
