What you will do

  • Develop and maintain high-quality SQL queries and data extracts for financial institutions and regulators.
  • Optimize Gsheet and App scripts workflows, focusing on XML conversions for automated reporting.
  • Design and implement comprehensive risk and compliance dashboards with robust data models and intuitive visualizations in Metabase.
  • Create and deploy Python applications on GitHub to improve productivity for risk and compliance teams.
  • Collaborate on diverse projects across financial crime prevention, internal control, and regulatory reporting.
  • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and reliability of risk and compliance processes.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a data-related role, preferably in fintech or financial services.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Google App Script, and Python.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Track record of improving data processes and implementing data analytics best practices.
