Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop solutions for real-world computer vision problems.
• Design and implement state-of-the-art deep learning techniques for Mashgin products.
• Work with the product team to collect large training datasets and generate equivalent synthetic data.
• Research and build machine learning and computer vision algorithms for 2D and 3D image data.
• Balance longer-term research with the integration of research results into production code.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant coding experience.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong background in machine learning or computer vision.
• Excellent knowledge of Python or C/C++.
• Strong understanding of CNNs, supervised and unsupervised learning, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work on-site in Palo Alto, California.

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, TensorFlow, or Theano.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment shipping quality code quickly and iterating.
