What you will do

• Architect and own the end-to-end technical strategy for data protection features, prioritizing requirements for hybrid cloud environments.
• Influence product roadmaps of strategic technology partners (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity) to ensure deep integration with Pure’s capabilities.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis of data protection workload characteristics and competitive sizing to maintain industry benchmarks.
• Transform complex technical specifications into high-impact SE/Sales enablement tools, architectural guides, and customer-facing presentations.
• Lead cross-functional execution, overseeing the full product lifecycle from inception through strategic product line transitions.

Requirements

• Deep data protection domain expertise, including hands-on experience with major applications like Cohesity, Rubrik, and Veeam.
• Proven strategic technical leadership in owning product lifecycles and driving results in an agile environment.
• Broad technical depth across storage solutions, networking, and security, with a focus on data protection workloads.
• Strong executive communication and influence, able to synthesize complex technical data into clear vision and strategy.
• Expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with company policies.
