What you will do

• Architect Foundation Roadmaps: Direct technical requirements and feature tradeoffs for FlashArray software to meet rigorous enterprise SLAs.
• Define Technical Specifications: Translate complex needs in storage OS, Data Reduction, QoS, High Availability, networking, and SaaS integration into actionable PRDs.
• Lead Competitive Benchmarking: Conduct deep-dive technical analysis of the storage landscape to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Drive Cross-Functional Engineering Alignment: Act as the primary interface between the CTO’s vision and Engineering execution.
• Scale Technical Enablement: Empower SEs and specialized sales teams by developing deep-dive technical documentation.

Requirements

• A robust technical foundation in enterprise storage protocols, flash management, and data protection architectures.
• Proven ability to manage complex software release milestones from concept to GA.
• Ability to parse telemetry and market data to identify performance bottlenecks or feature gaps.
• Strong capability to lead through influence, gaining buy-in from senior architects and developers.
• Location: Expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
