Intern, Production Design (Graphic Design): Supporting the delivery of creative content for major Canadian brands and sporting events with an accent on preparing and producing files for print, digital, and social materials. Focus on applying design principles, ensuring file organization, and recommending workflow improvements in a fast-paced agency environment.

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada (3 days per week in-office). Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.

Salary: $17.60/hour

What you will do

• Prepare and produce files for print, digital, social, and event materials based on supplied specifications.
• Work and collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, and Developers on creative projects.
• Apply general design principles to all work, including layouts, colours, and typography.
• Make requests, changes, and adjustments to design files.
• Ensure all files are organized and filed according to studio guidelines.
• Provide ongoing analysis of studio processes and recommend workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience reviewing vendor specifications and following trafficking requirements.
• Solution-oriented troubleshooting of problems.
• Confident multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
