What you will do

• Develop performant APIs that ensure reliable data synchronization and build software solutions for enterprise environments.
• Debug complex issues spanning distributed systems with strict requirements for security, performance, and scalability.
• Take complete ownership of code quality through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX designers, and engineering teams across hirify.global and Slack.
• Conduct technical research, present technical proposals, facilitate architecture discussions, and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver features on schedule, manage risks, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Technical Leadership: Experience partnering with other engineers, leading technical designs, or driving engineering initiatives.
• 3+ years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software development.
• Strong Java proficiency, with deep understanding of JVM-based systems.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale, understanding fault tolerance and high availability.
• Proven ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and real-time communication patterns.
• Background in Enterprise Software Development, understanding security, multi-tenancy, and performance optimization.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with hirify.global development (Apex, Lightning Web Components) or Slack APIs.
• Experience working with generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or hirify.global Einstein AI.
• Experience building real-time messaging, notification, or event-driven systems.
• Experience designing and operating microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong background in monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, Grafana).
• Solid experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks like React or Lightning Web Components.
