What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Architect and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, security scanning, deployments, and rollbacks.
• Integrate and manage application security scanning tools including Veracode and Cobalt for vulnerability management.
• Implement platform security best practices, security hardening, compliance controls, and incident response protocols.
• Manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for distributed production environments (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Mentor junior and mid-level DevOps engineers, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud platform operations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing infrastructure using Terraform in production environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation) with proven cloud architecture experience.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Extensive experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including multi-stage deployments and automated testing.
• Programming proficiency (C#, Java or similar languages) and advanced scripting capabilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Strong experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).

Nice to have

• Experience supporting .NET/C# application environments in production.
• Familiarity with restaurant systems (POS, KDS, mobile platforms) or hospitality technology.
• Experience with SQL database administration and operations (Microsoft SQL Server or similar).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Understanding of compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR) in cloud environments.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty).
