Location: Hybrid (Utrecht, Netherlands). Must live in The Netherlands or be willing to relocate to The Netherlands and have a valid work permit if a non-EU citizen. Minimum 2 days per week in the office.

Salary: €3,500 - €5,000 gross per month (based on 40-hour work week).

What you will do

• Innovate, redesign, and iterate on essential platform features like export feeds, rules, imports, and pricing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deeply understand customer problems.
• Develop innovative technical solutions balancing impact with managing technical debt.
• Take responsibility for feature performance and minimizing operating costs.
• Diagnose and solve bugs across multiple systems.
• Switch focus between different domains, building extensive knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience developing applications in typed Python, Typescript, and React, with a focus on backend.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (Postgres).
• Working knowledge of Linux, git, and the command-line.
• Must live in The Netherlands or be willing to relocate to The Netherlands.
• Valid work permit for The Netherlands if a non-EU citizen.
• Available for at least 32 hours a week.

Nice to have

• Experience in optimizing database queries and application code.
• Experience with distributed systems.
