What you will do

• Define, lead, and contribute to the development of data-intensive enhancements in hirify.globalsearch.
• Research the latest features, data structures, and algorithms to build the right capabilities.
• Work directly with partners and product teams to understand needs and build a strategic vision.
• Bring past experience in analytics systems to drive an innovative roadmap for ES|QL and the compute engine.
• Improve areas of hirify.globalsearch based on questions and instincts as an authority.

Requirements

• Experience leading technical projects in data and enterprise architecture, building sophisticated technical infrastructures.
• Experience mentoring expert engineers and providing technical guidance.
• Experience defining a long-term technical vision for data-intensive applications, working across teams.
• Hands-on experience with search and analytics APIs (e.g., Splunk SPL, hirify.globalsearch, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic).
• Strong skills in core Java, data structures, concurrency constructs, and newer features like lambdas.
• Experience with data storage technologies (e.g., hirify.globalsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra) and understanding their internal workings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience building with hirify.globalsearch and understanding search/information retrieval.
• Experience working with open-source projects and continuous integration workflows.
